Linda C. Gilder Palmer is the hostess and family caretaker of Four Brooks Farm, working alongside her husband Reese Denny Alsop Gilder Palmer to preserve the historic estate and its surrounding land for public benefit.
Together, Reese and Linda have led the effort to establish the Gilder Palmer Sanctuary nonprofit, with the aim of transforming Four Brooks Farm into a museum and cultural center honoring the Gilded Age figures Richard Watson Gilder and Helena de Kay Gilder, who owned the property. The house features architectural elements by Stanford White and hosted notable guests including President Grover Cleveland and Mark Twain.
