NEW MUSEUM & CULTURAL CENTER OPENED IN TYRINGHAM DEDICATED TO POWER COUPLE OF GILDED AGE, & The NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

The owners of Four Brooks Farm in Tyringham, Massachusetts, are transforming the property into a museum and cultural center to honor Richard Watson Gilder and his wife Helena DeKay Gilder, key figures of the Gilded Age. The couple, who hosted many famous guests like President Grover Cleveland and author Mark Twain, made Four Brooks their summer home. The property includes a house designed by architect Stanford White and beautiful gardens and woodlands.

The Gilder Palmer family, led by Reese and Linda Gilder Palmer, aims to open the site to the public, offering exhibits about Richard and Helena’s lives, along with cultural programs.
